In the pre-Civil War United States, Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, is abducted and sold into slavery. Facing cruelty at the hands of a malevolent slave owner, as well as unexpected kindnesses, Solomon struggles not only to stay alive, but to retain his dignity.

This was a very good day, since Karla and I had breakfast at my favorite mexican place, then went to the Czech heritage museum where we met two extraordinary ladies and then coffe and then the park and then the movies, with a great selection of hummus and sangria, a day to remember!!

Winter's tale

I went to see this movie with my friends, Elo, Karla, Gaby, her sister and daugther.

We had a good time after the movie at cafe rustika until we were kicked out of the place :P
